DESIGN + BUILD

Before applying for permission to convert this barn the old cart lodge had to be rebuilt to modern standards. Once demolished the timber frame reconstruction could proceed very rapildly and the whole building was rebuilt in just six weeks. Once permission was granted the building was transformed into a flexible 3 bed 3 bathroom house with 2 large living spaces. High levels of insulation; solar panels and an air-source heat pump have ensured a low carbon footprint.
